Final Business Card!

Here is the final design for my business card. It's not much different from the first, just printed of different card and has slightly different positioning of everything. Also I bought a circle cutter so the peel-able sticker inside is now perfect!

Television and Me

We were given a number which corresponded to a book in the Bristol city library. We had to borrow our book from the library and create a response to it. My book is called television and me and it is mind numbingly dull. It's about an autobiography of John Logie Baird, the man who invented television. There is little interesting about this book despite there seemingly being a chance for entertainment.

I took a quote from each page at random and am hoping to do something with them. My numb brain led me to creating this. Nice but irrelevant.

InDesign booklet

This was a project set for a workshop in InDesign. We were given a famous speech and asked to create an A6 booklet. My speech was 'We shall fight on the beaches' By Winston Churchill and this is my final outcome. Small and simple.

Business Card!

Here is a business card for my self promotional package at uni. Inside is a little sticker which you can peel off and keep.

50 Photos

This is a book I made after being set a brief to take 50 photos of a list of different subjects. We had to use film SLR cameras, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have used my favourite images in this book and then included an insert with all 50 photographs.

Letter Press

Here is some work I did in the letterpress studio. It was a very enjoyable workshop. Probably the best so far. I had never done anything like this before so it was all a completely new experience. We had to use the letterpress to write something from the book we were asked to read over the summer. This is my incredibly unimaginative final piece.

Screen Printing!

This is a bumble bee I made in a screen printing work shop during my first year at university. Screen printing was also something I have never used before but was very interested in. I really enjoyed this work shop and learning about the process. I would love to do more of this, however the screen printing studio is never free!

Wine list for The Royal Oak public house

Whilst working at the Royal Oak pub, I had the opportunity to redesign the wine list. This is what I came up with, a nice and simple design which is easy to read and understand.

This is a booklet I made for a project titled 'Transport'. All the images I've used, I took in Berlin using a film SLR camera. The idea behind my book was to look at how else transport could be interpreted rather than just a means of getting from A to B.

This was a one day project set at uni. The task was to create an advertisement using set rules; Must be hand rendered, only use the colours yellow, magenta and grey, no more that 10 words, must include a penguin, must be A5
